Supply of multi-silo system with weigh stations for multiple production lines

The Problem

Client produces order for their own supply and also for external customers. Demand was such that the exiting lines were at full capacity and additional orders could not be achieved utilising our existing FIBC system.

The Solution

A turnkey project, including civils, planning, structural design, and installation, acting as principle contractor and managing site Health and Safety. We installed four silos and two production lines, one of which was negative pressure feeding a weigh-frame that we modified, the other positive pressure to new weigh-frame and with the ability to provide different ingredients.

The Outcome

Project was implemented around customer’s requirement for continued production and minimal downtime, and was completed to customer expectations and budget. System now meets the demands of the production requirements with additional capacity available for future expansion.
